Boston Hotels for the Business TravelerBoston Hotels for the Business Traveler come in a wide range of prices and locations. It's so easy to get around in Boston that you really don't have to rent a car. However, if you do, make sure that you choose a hotel with available parking nearby. Susse Chalet Boston is known for accommodating the business traveler and is reasonably priced for all the amenities it provides. If money isn't an issue, stay at the Omni Parker House, one of the oldest and most popular hotels in downtown Boston.
If you are business traveler who doesn't have a lot of time for sightseeing and you are attending a convention, its probably best you stay in the hotel hosting the convention. The John B. Hynes Convention Center, where many exhibitions are held, is located on Boylston Street in Back Bay/Copley Square with the closest property being the Sheraton. Within the proverbial stone's throw are two of Boston's most recognizable structures: the Prudential and John Hancock buildings where many corporate offices are located. Parallel to Boylston St., home of many neighborhood pubs, is swanky Newbury Street and its array of chi-chi cafes (many offering sidewalk seating), ritzy clothing stores, and posh specialty shops. On the other end of Boston is the Financial District, located on and around busy State Street. Hotels include the classy Hotel Meridien and the recently opened Wyndham Boston Hotel. Once a quiet part of town when the executives went home, this area is growing in terms of social activities.
